
What is grief?
Grief is a normal response you can have when you lose someone close to you. Everyone will grieve differently, and there is no right way to do it.
How can we feel when we are grieving?
When someone you love has passed, you will be feeling lots of different emotions. These feelings might change depending on how the person passed on.
Some of the feelings are:
- Numbness – like you are in shock
- Sadness
- Anger – at yourself or others.
- Sometimes we want to blame
someone for our loss - Longing for country or home.
Guilt.
